Kiersten is the founder and designer behind Kiersten Hüelsbeck Fine Jewelry, a Washington D.C. based brand known for timeless pieces and bespoke engagement rings with a fresh, modern touch. Her work brings together a love of fashion, architecture, vintage design, current trends, and one of a kind storytelling, creating jewelry that feels deeply personal and effortlessly refined.
Kiersten’s obsession with jewelry started young. She spent her childhood playing Pretty Pretty Princess with her dad, proudly piling on plastic jewels like they were the real deal. In middle school, during a trip to New York, she had her mom take her to Tiffany & Co., too nervous to ask herself, she had her mom request that she try on an engagement ring just for fun. An experience she hasn’t forgotten.
Alongside her early fascination with fine jewelry, Kiersten has always been a collector of gemstones and “pretty rocks.” Over the years, she has cultivated a large crystal collection, drawn to the natural beauty, color, and energy of each unique stone. This lifelong passion for the raw materials of jewelry continues to influence her creative process today.
After earning her degree in Fashion Marketing in Los Angeles and London, Kiersten worked in buying, marketing, and design before founding her namesake brand. Her aesthetic is inspired by the romance of vintage jewelry with a modern sensibility, resulting in pieces that are both enduring and fresh.
Each design is created by Kiersten in Washington D.C. and brought to life by her team of skilled artisans. Every piece is made to be worn, loved, and passed on, her jewelry feels personal and timeless.
